Service Overview

A trade (category) classifies acceptor businesses and marketplace products — e.g. “Restaurant”, “Apparel”, “Auto services”. Without trades, members cannot browse discounts logically and the marketplace cannot organize catalog items. Each trade may define commission rate, suggested discount, and rules such as “merchant products allowed”.

Platform admins build the full trade tree and link work groups. Club managers view and search — seeing platform-wide and club-specific trades — and attach them when approving acceptors. Merchants see their active trades and can request additional categories.

Daily flow: admin defines trade → club links acceptor → merchant requests new trade if needed → club approves on acceptor detail page.

Trades

**Menu:** Platform Admin → Business Management → Marketplace → Trades

Market structure hub for the entire platform — build, edit, and retire the trade tree.

Prerequisites

  1. Marketplace management permission.
  2. Work groups defined under marketplace master data.
  3. Before delete, ensure no dependent acceptors or products.

Page layout

  • Title Trade management — “Hierarchical market categories”.
  • New trade button.
  • Toolbar: Work group filter, search, Reload.
  • Tree view: trade name, acceptor count, product count, Active, Add sub-trade, Edit, Delete.
  • Trade form (modal): name, English name, code, description, icon/image, color, parent trade, work group, commission %, user reward, catalog flags, merchant product allowed, product approval required, sort order, Active, Featured.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Marketplace → Trades.
  2. Filter by work group if needed.
  3. Click New trade; fill name and work group.
  4. Set commission and discount/reward per club policy.
  5. Add sub-trades via Add sub-trade on parent row.
  6. Enable Active and save.
  7. Use search to locate trades in large trees.
  8. Disable via Active toggle instead of delete when possible.

Tips and common issues

  • Delete fails if acceptors still linked — reassign first.
  • Product approval required means club must approve merchant SKUs.
  • Featured highlights in shop — use sparingly.
  • Code is for integrations; shown under name in panel.

How trades connect

ModuleRole of trade
**Acceptors**Each shop has one or more trades; unapproved trade blocks full listing.
**Club shop**Products categorized under trades.
**Portal discounts**Browse path: work group → trade → acceptor.
**Merchant panel**Merchant lists products only in approved trades.

Trades

**Menu:** Club Panel → Sales Network → Trades

Read-only browse of trades available to the club — used when onboarding acceptors and explaining marketplace structure to staff.

Prerequisites

  1. Trades or marketplace-related option active.
  2. View permission on sales network modules.

Page layout

  • List or tree of public and club-specific trades.
  • Search by name or code.
  • Columns: name, work group, acceptor count (club-scoped where shown), active flag.
  • No create/delete — club managers request new trades from platform admin.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Sales Network → Trades before acceptor onboarding.
  2. Note which trades fit the new shop (e.g. “Cafe”, “Bakery”).
  3. During acceptor approval, open Trades tab on acceptor detail.
  4. Add and approve each relevant trade.
  5. If a trade is missing, contact platform admin to create it.
  6. Periodically review acceptor counts per trade for network health.

Tips and common issues

  • Club cannot invent platform-wide trades — escalation path is admin.
  • Club-specific trades appear only for your club's acceptors.
  • Pending trade on acceptor = incomplete discount profile.

Merchant PanelSection 4 of 6

Trades

**Menu:** Merchant Panel → Shop → Trades

Merchants see approved activity categories and can request membership in additional trades.

Prerequisites

  1. Acceptor approved and active.
  2. Merchant panel access with shop module enabled.

Page layout

  • My trades — approved list with status.
  • Request new trade — pick from club-available categories, optional note.
  • Request status: pending, approved, rejected (with reason).

Step-by-step

  1. Open Shop → Trades.
  2. Confirm current trades match your business type.
  3. If expanding (e.g. adding delivery kitchen), Request new trade.
  4. Wait for club approval — products in unapproved trades may be blocked.
  5. After approval, add products under the new category in Products.

Tips and common issues

  • Rejected request → read club reason and fix documentation.
  • Do not create products under trades still pending.
  • Trade changes do not retroactively move old products — edit SKU category manually.

Quick setup checklist (new club manager)

  1. Open Trades once to learn existing categories.
  2. Align with admin if a key trade (e.g. “Restaurant”) is missing.
  3. On every new acceptor, complete Trades tab before activation.
  4. After a month, compare acceptor count and product count per trade.

Summary for support

  • Trades = marketplace and discount taxonomy.
  • Admin owns the tree; club approves acceptor ↔ trade links; merchant requests expansion.
  • Unapproved trade on acceptor is a common root cause of “shop not visible”.
