Service Overview

Project equity lets clubs offer members participation in specific projects — construction, startup shares, or revenue-sharing units — with distinct terms from the general Fund module. Platform admins monitor projects across clubs; club managers define offerings, caps, and disclosures; members invest and track positions from the portal Equity area.

Treat each project as a separate product with its own risk profile, funding target, and lifecycle (open → funded → operating → closed).

Step-by-step — create project

  1. Open Financial → Project equity.
  2. New project — public title and internal code.
  3. Set target amount, unit price, min/max investment per member.
  4. Upload disclosure PDFs or link to Content pages.
  5. Set fundraising open/close dates.
  6. Status Draft until legal sign-off → Open for portal visibility.
  7. Link from App Builder native Equity page or home CTA.

Step-by-step — during fundraise

  1. Monitor Funding progress daily.
  2. Review large investments for AML policy if applicable.
  3. When target reached, set status Fully funded and stop new subscriptions.
  4. Record offline closings in Transactions if any manual entries allowed.

  • Contact club support with project name and investment date for disputes.

Investor communication template

When opening a project to members, include in notification or Content page:

  1. Project purpose and timeline (plain language)
  2. Minimum and maximum ticket size
  3. How returns are calculated and when paid
  4. Risk statement — capital at risk, not a bank deposit
  5. Support contact for document requests

Compliance reminders

  • Keep offline signed agreements referenced by project ID in internal CRM.
  • Do not promise fixed returns in App Builder marketing copy unless legally approved.
  • Freeze new subscriptions during material project news until disclosure updated.

Summary for support

  • Project equity ≠ general fund — separate module and portal entry.
  • Club controls open/close and distributions; admin is oversight.
  • Member disputes: verify transaction in club Investors tab first.
